Case Studies

Public Engagement

Developed a consortium of healthcare stakeholders to include providers, non-profits, educators and payors to deliver non-partisan, factual information about the Affordable Care Act and its implementation. Through a combination of community meetings targeted to seniors, employers and the general public as well as paid, earned and social media, Well3 Pikes Peak became the predominant voice for the Affordable Care Act in the Pikes Peak Region. Campaign ran in 2013 and 2014 and disbanded in 2015.

Trade Association

Stewarded a major local industry association as it dramatically changed its business model from a traditional trade organization to a fee-for-service based model. Engaging internal and external leadership, industry influencers and utilizing industry trend data, successfully identified and updated brand attributes and ancillary materials to include logo, website, brochures and other print materials. Facilitated communications launch and stakeholder engagement to increase membership and participation.

Higher Education

Lead rebrand of regional comprehensive University to more accurately reflect University values and student and community values. Supported earned and social media messaging, placed aggressive paid multi-media campaign as well as initiated community “art reception” to launch highly stylized campaign.

Tourism

Working with a municipal tourism authority and its primary industry, implemented an aggressive media campaign to promote the region and subsequently increased visitorship and revenue.

Healthcare

Facilitated process to help identify and clarify values and offerings to brand a nurse-managed healthcare clinic within a University environment to inform marketing materials for payers, patients and community influencers. Process internal and external stakeholders, competitors and payers/patients.

Crisis Communications
Strategy & Training

Developed a crisis communications strategy and policy manual for a major family-oriented recreation non-profit. Provided leadership team with formal training as well as interactive role-playing featuring real-world scenarios.

Political

Sarah Brittain Jack

Sarah Brittain Jack is the principal of Sarah B Jack & Associates, an independent political consulting and local government relations firm representing various clients since 1994. Sarah and her team have run professional, thoughtful, effective and ultimately WINNING political campaigns for both candidates and issues throughout the Pikes Peak region and the state of Colorado. As a veteran political campaigner, she has worked in every capacity from volunteer and volunteer coordinator to campaign consultant/manager for over 200 campaigns for candidates, issues, and 527 groups. As a Government Relations Consultant, Sarah has lobbied and educated local and state elected officials on issues including land use on behalf of the HBA and its member companies as well as organizations and issues related to energy resource development and management, higher education and healthcare.
